Internet Marketing Strategies for the Advanced List Builder
In this article, I am going to talk about Internet marketing strategies for the advanced list builder. I am assuming a basic knowledge of list building, of selecting a niche, of creating a squeeze page, of creating autoresponder campaign, and of writing persuading e-mails, and developing strong emotional bonds with subscribers on your list. So, I am assuming that you are a list builder, and you know what you're doing, and you are probably are making money, and that you have a list of at least a thousand opt in e-mail subscribers. There are several strategies that I'm going to address here. The first strategy is that you must study your opt in e-mail rates and your click through...

List Building for Money - How to Do It
List building for money. How do you do it? In my opinion, the only reason that most people build lists online is to develop a revenue stream from the opt in e-mail subscribers on those lists. Now don't get me wrong. Sometimes you might build a list of like-minded individuals, for example people who like to visit movies in your part of town, and you build friends that way. However, what I am talking about here is building a list of like-minded individuals who are interested in learning more information about the topic about which you have specialized knowledge, and are willing to buy from you. So basically what you do is build a list of individuals who have like-minded desires as you do, and know less about some niche topic than you do, and who are willing to purchase some of that information from you at a price...

What Is the Simplest Way to Building a Niche Oriented List From Scratch?
Can it also be the quickest way to build a niche oriented list from scratch? Without going into the whys and wherefores of all the different ways to building a niche oriented list from scratch and why some are better than others and I will jump right into what I believe is the easiest way in the least expensive way to building niche oriented list from scratch. The easiest way to building a niche oriented list from scratch is to set up a two-part system. The first part involves article writing in the second part involves building the list via a squeeze page. The article writing side of this involves writing articles directly related to the niche and any topic in which niche customers...

How do You Get People to Sign Up, to Become Subscribers to Your List?
I will start right off by saying that I use the squeeze page method exclusively in my list building efforts. I believe it is one of the most profitable methods of building a list online. You have taken a huge first step by adding the popin to your web page, and with a catalogue web site like yours, it is one of your best options. Obviously, if you have been reading my articles and my books, you know that I am a huge proponent of a squeeze page, and that my entire business is based on the squeeze page process. I literally force my visitors to become subscribers if they want access to my web site. I feel that if they are not willing to give me their name and email, they will never give me their credit card info, so why even entertain them? I think the best incentive to entice someone to opt in to your email campaign is a free gift directly related to the niche in which they are searching. The free gift must be something they will value, and since they were looking for information...

Is There a Better Alternative to Squeeze Pages?
Before I begin to answer this question, in all fairness I have to tell you this. My entire business model is based on a squeeze page. Nobody gets into my website without going through my squeeze page. It is practically impossible to buy anything from me without going through my squeeze page. I believe very strongly in squeeze pages. I believe squeeze pages are incredible qualifying devices. My personal feeling is, if someone is not willing to give me their name and e-mail address, they will probably never be willing to give me their credit card and mailing address.
Now to answer your question. I make the assumption that you do not want to use a squeeze page because you already have a good-looking index page, or catalogue page or site, or you have some other reason that you particularly...

What Are the First Two Steps in List Building, and Why Are They So?
am going to assume that by first two steps you mean the actual steps of list building, as the true first steps are to determine your niche, and then your goal with your list, and then you can think of actually building the list. But since I assume you are asking about the mechanics of building the list, not the entire process, I will begin with the first two steps.
The first step should be that of getting an autoresponder service to collect your emails, to do all your mailing for you, and to keep your emails ...

What are Some Inexpensive Ways to Get People to the Sign Up Page?
There are a number of inexpensive ways to get people to the sign up page of your list building effort, but only a few of them are really effective. Since I do not want to waste your time or mine, I will just discuss the effective ways of getting people to your sign up pages.
One of the most effective ways to get someone to your web site sign up page is to write articles and post them to the various online article directories. Simply write articles (I have written over 1000, so I know what it takes) that are related to the topic of your web site, and put a link in the article near the end offering some free gift to anyone who visits your site and ...

List Building – Why Your Index Should Be A Lead Capture Page II
Compel them to fill in that opt-in form and give you their email address and at least their first name. Don't ask for more or they might become suspicious. No one minds being asked their first name, but if you push and request their family name and even address and phone number, you will likely lose them.
When you lose a visitor, you lose it forever. That is one more person in the world unlikely to visit your site again, so do your best to stop it from happening. Another reason why you should use your index page is that you catch them right away with a teasing offer that might force them to act.
Don't give them time to think by browsing through your site. They might get bored and leave. Instead, make them an ...

List Building to Promote your Product III
An exit pop-up has been proven to be effective in capturing email addresses. Exit pop-ups are more effective then entrance pop-ups that frequently annoy and have the opposite effect to what you want. However, you can experiment with pop-ups to find the best type for you. There are many different types from the normal standard pop-up to those that float in and the sticky type that stay there even when you scroll up or down.
There are some rules that I have found effective in helping to secure the email address. First, request only a first name and not a full name. People think you are being less obtrusive. Also don't ask them to 'register', and certainly not to 'subscribe' with the connotation of payment. The most effective way is to offer information or a free gift, and request the first name and email address so that you can send the information or gift to ..
